Frequently Asked Questions
We already have soft skills programs for employees. How would you add value to our organization?
Our courses are deep and foundational in nature. They do not overlap soft skills training at all but augment it. Our classes come with a unique set of tools employees can apply that they probably have not been exposed to in soft skills training. Our tools are broader, more naturally implementable, less rules-based, and more universal than the rules and processes that must be memorized in soft skills classes.
Our training supports traditional soft skills courses such as communication skills, supervisory skills, writing skills, and others in three ways:
- They increase receptivity of participants to learn. Participants are more open to the idea.
- They increase effectiveness of participants to change behavior. (Resistance to change is reduced.)
- They help participants understand why soft skills are needed, improving motivation.
We recommend participants attend the brain classes first. Give the participant some time to absorb the session information, make changes, and adapt the ideas into his/her work routine. Then see whether any more training is needed. I think you'll be surprised at the answer.
Do your programs have anything to do with NLP, Neuro-Linguistic Programming?
No. There is no scientific basis to NLP. There is no relationship between neuroscience and NLP.
Do your programs have anything to do with NeuroLeadership?
Not really, but they do not conflict. NeuroLeadership is a term coined by David Rock, a life coach from Australia. He supports the application of neuroscience to leadership and coaching, which is not unlike what I am doing. From what I have seen of his conferences, neuroleadership is still in its infancy and quite expensive at his conference prices. I feel we have a more solid, proven product at much more reasonable prices.
