About Sandi Smith

Sandi Smith

Sandi Smith, President of BrainWays Training & Development, combines the latest discoveries of dozens of leading neuroscientists and behavioral thought leaders and transforms them into solutions for employees that make teams, workplaces, and organizations more powerful, profitable, fun, and effective than ever before. Never before has material from neuroscience, psychology, physics, and human behavior been integrated this way. Sandi blends her award-winning Fortune 50 experience, her rare flying achievements, and her vast global knowledge into a powerful strategy designed to help organizations and individuals achieve their goals and dreams.

Sandi earned an MS in applied cognition and neuroscience, where she focused on the study of emotions, namely fear and happiness. Her MBA/CPA and Fortune 1000 leadership experience as well as entrepreneurial achievements demonstrate a solid business background. Since the 1990s, she has been a frequent speaker at conferences, and her books, courses, videos, and articles have been published internationally and read by hundreds of thousands of people. Sandi Smith

An explorer, Sandi is the sixth American female and the 15th or so female in the world to co-pilot a single-engine airplane around the world, allowing her to experience fear on an extreme level and not just study it in a university setting. She has visited 100 countries, including a backpacking trip alone around the world. Her volunteer work in Kenya, Russia, and Nepal earned her an AWSCPA Public Service Award and a Baird Community Service Award.
